Whispering Waves Cottages now
delivers traditional Nova Scotia lobster suppers and other dishes
right to your cottage door. This service is a great addition to our six oceanfront cottages and
we hope, a new dining experience
for visitors to the South Shore
region of the province. All of the food is prepared on the premises and our lobster
dishes feature fresh Nova Scotia lobster hauled from traps
by lobster fishermen just a
few miles from our waterfront location.
Our
Menu
We specialize in local seafood
and lobster suppers made from traditional
recipes. We also have steak, chicken and
salmon favourites,
that include a
selection of salads and of course, a variety of
decadent desserts. Each item is prepared to
perfection using local produce and our chef,
often offers her own special 'twist'
to each recipe.
Dinner
items range from $16.95 (for
the steak, chicken and salmon dishes) to $24.95
for our lobster suppers.
Availability
Our lobster
suppers and other traditional Nova Scotia dishes
are only available to customers (and their
guests) at Whispering Waves Cottages. It should
be also be noted, that advance notice is
required (usually a couple of days is adequate)
especially for larger groups or family
functions.
Our
Location
Whispering
Waves Cottages is located in the small fishing village of Ingomar, Shelburne County, between the historic
town of Shelburne and the village of Clyde River
on Nova Scotia's Lighthouse Route. To find us
take Exit #27 at Birchtown or Exit #28 at Clyde
River, off Highway #103. You will enjoy the
drive along the rugged shoreline dotted with
fishing wharves, picturesque fishing villages
and pristine bays and inlets.
